Valerie Wilkerson - Design Team Stylist Valerie is one of those fortunate people who discovered her life's calling at a young age. As a high school student, she began styling her friends' hair for dances, weddings and other occasions. Over time, her gift for making others look good gave her the encouragement she needed to pursue her passion. She enrolled in cosmetology school, received her license and began her upward climb. Today, Valerie is one of the industry's rising stars, specializing in weddings and regarded for her innovative skills with color, custom cuts and extensions. Her hard work has paid off handsomely, enabling her to style a number of models and local celebrities. Her distinctive creations have been featured on the cover of San Diego Bridal Magazine three times to date, and counting. Valerie continues to enhance her expertise with hands-on classes and new products seminars. An integral part of the Tops design team, she is also involved in weekly sessions with hair models. Well aware that her well-earned reputation is only as good as her most recent cut, Valerie is committed to transforming each client visit into a memorable experience.
